10th Fab Managers Forum

Monday 3 April 2006, 10:30-18:30
Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel - Munich, Germany
In conjunction with SEMICON Europa 2006

It is our pleasure to announce our 10th European FAB Managers Forum, presented by Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI). The forum is developed in close co-operation with our European semiconductor Fab and R&D organizations.

This conference has established itself as a well respected meeting venue for FAB managers, executives and professionals from the semiconductor industry to meet and discuss topical issues, which are of mutual interest in the relentless drive towards competitive manufacturing.

IC markets remain extremely price sensitive, so the pressure for continued improvements remains as tough as ever before. Furthermore, the need to identify and reduce gaps between the semiconductor technology ‘push’ versus the electronics products market ‘pull’, through i.e. Micro Systems -System in Package- solutions is on top of the agenda for business development, to drive existing FAB asset utilized to an optimum. It is essential that successful FAB managers and their teams stay informed in the areas of manufacturing control and developments in enabling technologies ‘beyond the silicon’. Users and key suppliers must stay on top of the challenges that need to be resolved by effective information exchange and collaboration.

The FAB Managers Forum will have sessions of short presentations, followed by the very popular and interactive FAB Managers Executive Panel session.

The conference is followed by a reception/dinner, which allows participants to take a full benefit of networking among in other industry peers.

Rooms have been blocked at the Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel, nicely located in the proximity to both, Munich city center and the Messe Munich.

As before, this forum is held in conjunction with SEMICON Europa, this time in Munich on the Monday before the exposition (Tuesday-Thursday) - allowing an efficient travel schedule and to participate in both events.
