SEMI PRESENTS NEW ENGLAND BREAKFAST FORUM ON JUNE 1

Session will Provide an Update on Market Trends, Industry Outlook

SAN JOSE, April 7, 2005 – SEMI will present "A Market Update" at the New England Breakfast Forum to be held on June 1, 2005 at the Renaissance Boston Bedford Hotel, Bedford, Mass. The program is co-sponsored by Soluris, Inc.

The session will provide an overview on topics such as worldwide economic conditions, electronic systems sales trends, current state of the silicon cycle, IC market forecast, the role of the wafer foundry, the IC market in China, semiconductor capital spending trends, and long-term industry outlook.

Panelists include G. Dan Hutcheson, president and CEO, VLSI Research, Bob Johnson, SEM analyst, Gartner Dataquest, and Bill McClean, president, IC Insights. The session will be moderated by SEMI New England committee chairwoman, Kathryn Whitenack, director of marketing for Lytron.
