SEMI PRESENTS NEW ENGLAND BREAKFAST FORUM ON MARCH 8

Session to Provide an Overview of the Industry Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors and SEMATECH

SAN JOSE, Calif. – February 3, 2006 – SEMI will present “Technology—Future Visions, Current Concerns,” at the New England Breakfast Forum to be held on March 8, 2006 at Teradyne, Inc. building 600 in N. Reading, Massachusetts. The program is co-sponsored by Teradyne.

The session will provide an overview on topics such as the Industry Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors (ITRS) and SEMATECH, and conversation at the forum will focus on future technology requirements, challenges and the “red brick walls” facing chip manufacturers and their suppliers.

Speakers include Raj Jammy, director of the Front End (FEP) Division, SEMATECH; Dr. Christopher Case, chief technology officer, BOC Edwards; and Dr. Craig Keast, leader of the Advanced Silicon Group, Lincoln Laboratories, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and the program runs from 8:05 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $35 for SEMI members and $55 for non-members.
