SEMI Technology Symposium to be Held at SEMICON Japan 2007 –Call for Papers Now Open

Abstracts Deadline: 25 June 2007–STS to be held 5-7 December 2007 in Japan

TOKYO, Japan – April 3, 2007 – Abstracts for paper presentations are now being accepted for the 26th SEMI Technology Symposium (STS), which will be held 5-7 December at the Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan in conjunction with SEMICON Japan 2007. The submission deadline is 25 June 2007.

STS is a highly successful annual event, and in 2006, the symposium featured 87 technical lectures, and attracted over 1000 attendees.

Presentations on original, non-commercial and non-published works are being solicited in the following areas: memory, multilevel interconnection, etching, lithography, mask, manufacturing science, advanced device, and packaging.

Submissions are welcome from all persons directly or indirectly involved in the semiconductor industry, including IC manufacturers, academic and research institutes, equipment manufacturers and materials suppliers.

Abstracts of approximately 250 words and a 100-word speaker biography are due 25 June 2007 by e-mail, and must be printed on company letterhead. Abstracts must clearly detail the nature, scope, content, organization, key points and significance of the proposed paper.
