EquipNet is pleased to announce that it is working with a global leader in RF solutions to help manage the client’s surplus equipment, to the ongoing operations in its Costa Rica facility. Through this relationship, EquipNet helps its client track and redeploy asset internally, with the use of EquipNet’s tracking software known as ARMS. ARMS is a web-based secure software program that facilities can use to post, track, find, redeploy, buy and sell equipment. EquipNet’s clients can easily determine the success of their efforts by analyzing cost savings through redeployments and revenue generated through sales. Companies that exclusively use EquipNet for their asset disposition needs can see $2M to $10M in previously unidentified funds per year.

In addition to internal redeployments, a variety of back-end tools from this project are being sold on EquipNet.com, the largest online venue in the world for buying and selling surplus manufacturing equipment. A majority of assets from this project are 2017 tools that have been facilitated and run for certification, but have not run any production. Assets include Die Bonders, Wafer Dicing Saws, Wafer Sorters, Wire bonders and other back-end wafer production equipment from OEMs such as Disco, K&S, TDK, ASM Pacific and other respectable manufacturers. In working with EquipNet representative, prospective buyers can inspect all equipment. To view full list of inventory on EquipNet.com, click here.
