The Chattahoochee Hub for Innovation and Production of Semiconductors (CHIPS 4 CHIPS, or C4C) is a cross-sector coalition of individuals and organizations in Columbus, GA, and the greater Chattahoochee Valley focused on the United States’ national priority of onshoring semiconductor manufacturing. This coalition has been engaged to pursue locating the semiconductor manufacturing and/or its related supply chain in the Chattahoochee Valley.
The Chattahoochee Valley has abundant natural and human resources representing the key requirements necessary for supporting a profitable and expansive semiconductor industry. Our technology cluster includes Fort Benning (the 5th largest military installation in the world), Raytheon/Pratt Whitney, Global Payments, Auburn University, Columbus State University, and many other companies and institutions, as well as the corporate headquarters of Aflac, Synovus Bank, the W.C. Bradley Company.
