As President of SEMI Southeast Asia, Linda Tan oversees development of the association’s programs, committees, products, and services in the region. Tan is responsible for maintaining relationships with member companies and representatives of industry, government and academia in the region, and she supports SEMI international programs for members of all regions that have business interests in Southeast Asia’s growing electronics design and manufacturing ecosystem.
Tan rejoined SEMI as the Regional President in November 2021 and previously served as Director of Event Operations with SEMI Southeast Asia for six years. In this role, she was instrumental in managing SEMICON Southeast Asia, the region’s premier semiconductor and microelectronics event, and brought the event from Singapore to Penang in 2015 and subsequently to Kuala Lumpur in 2018. Leveraging her wealth of semiconductor industry experience, she encourages the growth of the industry in the region and is a passionate supporter of gender equity in strategic roles and drawing more graduates to consider engineering as a career.
Between 2020 to 2021, she provided consulting services to multinational companies in Singapore and has led successful marketing campaigns and overall operational functions.
