Join SEMI Silicon Valley

A man using technology

Welcome to the home page for SEMI Members and their customers in the Silicon Valley Region and the SEMI Silicon Valley Committee. This Committee is an excellent way to keep connected with what is going on in the industry and a hands-on opportunity to network with industry leaders. SEMI is ready to support our members locally with our industry programs in the Silicon Valley region. Our vision is not only to provide business/networking events but also to create a community platform for members, customers, local research organizations, universities, workforce development groups, and economic development resources to connect and prosper.

The SEMI Silicon Valley Chapter seeks to become one of the most energetic and effective chapters in the US. The Chapter’s overriding goal is to identify, prioritize, and help solve challenges impacting SEMI members around the following key themes: Workforce Development/Education and Events and Communication. The Chapter has an active executive leadership comprised of volunteers from commercial, academia, and other member companies employing high-tech workers in the Silicon Valley, CA.

The SEMI Silicon Valley Chapter also provides the SEMI regional membership and microelectronics professionals a forum to gain sales and marketing information, innovative technology updates, and forecast/market analyses. The Chapter's overriding goal is to facilitate collaboration, networking, professional growth and economic development across the electronics supply chain.

The Steering Committee guides a variety of activities geared to achieving their charter goal to facilitate collaboration, networking, professional growth and economic development across the electronics supply chain.

The committee also directs the structure of forums for technical and market topics along with peer-to-peer networking for regional SEMI members and the local technology community. The Committee identifies success metrics for all activities and regularly communicates these successes to stakeholders.
