As President of SEMI Korea, Hyun-Dae Cho oversees the association’s programs, products, and services in the region. He is responsible for maintaining relationships with SEMI members as well as with representatives of industry, government, and academia in Korea. Additionally, he supports SEMI international programs for members of all regions that have interests in Korean markets for technology and materials.
Prior to joining SEMI, Cho was Representative Director of Photon Dynamics, Korea. Before that, he served in various roles at Metron Technology Korea, Ltd., Materials Research Corporation, Korea, Ltd., and Digital Equipment, Korea, Inc.
Cho holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and an MBA from Korea University, Seoul. He also completed an Executive Program for Senior Management in the Semiconductor Industry from the Graduate School of Industrial Engineering, Korea University.
