To realize sustainable growth, discussions on restricted or prohibited substances continue in each industry and country. Various format or scheme exist in semiconductor supply chain to grasp usageof restricted chemical substances in products.
SEMI Japan SCM Working Group held several discussions among Working Group members, concluded to recommend use of chemSHERPA as general tool in our supply chain.
Link to chemSHERPA is added to the Knowledge Hub on SEMI SCM Industry Advisory Council (IAC) Web site. We expect chemSHERPA will become a common tool on restricted or prohibited substances in our supply chain.
