His research in EDA tools and methodologies has made a significant, lasting impact on the industry, including contributions to:

Logic Synthesis and Minimization
Hardware Software Co-Design
Network on Chip (NoC)
Cell Library Mapping

His academic advances in EDA have had a lasting impact on the industry
which would not be where it is today without his groundbreaking research.

Dr. Giovanni De Micheli was honored at the 2022 Phil Kaufman Award Ceremony and Banquet on February 23, 2023.
