Electronics Materials

Electronics Materials

Advanced materials have become a critical enabler of semiconductor growth applications. The Electronics Manufacturing Group (EMG) represents members in materials production, distribution and services to better serve the interests of the $69 billion electronics materials industry.

Semiconductor materials play a vital role in the manufacturing of integrated devices (I.C.s). Materials that are used to pattern the wafer are considered "Fab Materials", materials that are used to protect and/or connect the die are called "Packing Materials". Learn More

The Electronic Materials Group (EMG) is a technology community representing SEMI member companies that provide substrates, polymers, metals, organic and inorganic materials, chemicals, and gases that are developed or in use for the manufacturing of electronics. Learn more.

At every SEMICON and Strategic Materials Conferences talk dominates of new materials and new approaches to well-established materials. Review the list of events to find one near to you or applicable to your interests. Learn more.

SEMI-FlexTech is one partner within SEMI that funds projects designed to advance technology forward in a collaborative format. Learn more.
